We designed a damper with a special shape for our .pzBASSTM systems to enable a broadband control of complex frequency responses by the diaphragm. This damper is made of a proprietary, high weather-resistant material(*), as durability will a concern for the next generation speaker systems that will be chosen for use on outdoor stages. We achieved excellent frequency characteristics and high output with high efficiency, because of the super-wide, bimorph (2-layer) Piezo element which is made by our own advanced Piezo manufacturing technology.
